We love Kate Young’s edgy, exceptionally cool style and wouldn’t mind a day (or forever) in her envy-inspiring closet. Even more so when we learned that nestled amid the Givenchy and Jason Wu are a good share of fitness finds. “I exercise a lot!” says the mega-stylist, who plans to run the New York City Marathon this Fall.
In addition to creating her own collection for Target last year, Young seamlessly segues from styling high-profile actresses (Natalie Portman and Michelle Williams among them) for the red carpet to working on editorial and advertising shoots and collaborating with designers for runway shows. How does she maintain the energy for such a life on the run?
She logs nearly as much time in her sneaks as her stilettos (90s-inspired classic pumps from Manolo Blahnik are a favorite at the moment). Fresh off the Fall 2014 shows, the Oscars, and a much-needed respite to Palm Springs, Young finds time to tell us what keeps her healthy and primed to hit the pavement.
